About Us
Church of Christ at Bauxite has been a part of the Bauxite community since the 1940's. Our building was originally constructed on land loaned to us by the Alcoa Corporation, but was moved to its current location in the 1960's.
We strive to pattern our worship and our lives after the example of the early New Testament Church as revealed in the Bible, neither adding to or taking away from the divine command.
We teach and preach the word of God plainly and simply, speaking only where the Bible speaks and remaining silent where the Bible is silent.
Our worship is simple. We assemble together on the first day of the week to engage in prayer, acapella singing, teaching, communion, and giving.
